Fan Ranges and Curves

CMVeco 125-400

 

The CMV fan range has now been further improved and re-named CMVeco, the casings have been re-designed and as a result the fan efficiencies have increased helping to lower running costs. All units are fitted with an advanced 20 bladed Radial Tipped impeller giving excellent flow characteristics, all impellers within this range (CMVeco125-400) are available from either Injection moulded Fire retardant Polypropylene, Anti-Static Fire Retardant Polypropylene and PVDF, all impellers in this range are balanced to ISO1940/1 – G2.5. Duty ranges from 50m³/hr – 14,000m³/hr with pressures up to 2700Pa and are available either in direct, v-belt or inverter drive versions.

CMVpro 125-400

 

The CMVpro fan range is the latest re-design of the best-in-class CMVeco fan range which has been the market
leader for some 60 years. To meet ever growing needs for more efficient fan units Colasit AG have now designed
and produced the new CMVpro range fitted with a backward curve impeller, giving efficiencies up to 82%, either
with 7 or 11 blades depending upon fan size, all impellers are injection moulded and have streamlined blades to aid
efficiency. Materials available are PVDF Fire Retardant Polypropylene, Fire Retardant Anti-Static Polypropylene, the
latter being suitable to meet the latest ATEX regulations – BS EN 14986: 2017.

CMV 450

 

The CMV 450 fan unit is fitted with the same design impeller as the CMVeco range, a 20 bladed Radial Tipped Impeller giving efficiencies of up to 70%, these impellers are CNC machined from Heat Stabilized Polypropylene and balanced to ISO1940/1 – G6.3. Fan casings are also CNC machined either from Black Polypropylene or PVC, GRP reinforcement is available as an extra. Duty ranges from 3000m³/hr – 12,000m³/hr with pressures up to 1900Pa and are available in either direct, v-belt or inverter drive versions.

CMV 500 – 1250

 

The CMV500 – CMV1250 fan units are fitted with the same design impeller as the CMVeco range , a 20 bladed Radial Tipped Impeller giving efficiencies of up to 70%, these impellers are CNC machined from Heat Stabilized Polypropylene and balanced to ISO1940/1 – G6.3. Fan casings are also CNC machined either from Black Polypropylene or PVC, GRP reinforcement is available as an extra. As with all our fans the steelworks are galvanised as standard and we only use stainless steel fixings. Duty ranges from 4000m³/hr – 110,000m³/hr with pressures up to 1900Pa and are available in either direct, v-belt or inverter drive versions.

CMHV 450 – 1250

 

The CMHV fan range was developed in response to our customers’ demands for higher efficiency fans fitted with
backward curve impellers to help reduce power consumption and therefore reduce running costs. All units are
fitted with an 8 bladed Backward Curve impeller giving efficiencies of up to 80%. The impellers are CNC machined
from Heat Stabilized Polypropylene and balanced to ISO1940/1 – G6.3. Fan casings are also CNC machined from
Polypropylene or PVC/GRP.
Duty ranges from 2000m³/hr – 100,000m³/hr with pressures up to 3000Pa and available in either direct, v-belt or
inverter drive versions.

CPV 630 – 1250

 

The CPV range of fan units are the most efficient we produce, they are fitted with a 6 bladed Backward Curve
impeller giving efficiencies of up to 85%, thus giving appreciable power savings with non-overloading power
characteristics.
The impellers are CNC machined from Heat Stabilized Polypropylene and balanced to ISO1940/1 – G6.3.
Fan casings are also CNC machined either from Black Polypropylene or PVC/GRP.
As with all our fans the steelworks are galvanised as standard and we only use stainless steel fixings.
Duty ranges from 4000m³/hr – 100,000m³/hr with pressures up to 2500Pa and are available in either direct, v-belt
or inverter drive versions.

BCV 125 – 500

 

The BCV range is fitted with a 6 bladed Backward Curve impeller giving efficiencies of up to 80%, these impellers are
CNC machined from Heat Stabilized Polypropylene and balanced to ISO1940/1 – G6.3.
Fan casings are also CNC machined either from Black Polypropylene or PVC, GRP reinforcement is available as an
extra.
As with all our fans the steelworks are galvanised as standard and we only use stainless steel fixings.
Duty ranges from 100m³/hr – 15,000m³/hr with pressures up to 2500Pa and are available in either direct, v-belt or
inverter drive versions.

CHVS 63 – 250

 

The CHVS range of fan units are fitted with a 12 bladed Backward Curve impeller giving efficiencies of up to 80%. These fans are specifically designed to operate in systems with high pressure losses, such as gas scrubbing and Bio Filters, the
impellers are CNC machined from Heat Stabilized Polypropylene and balanced to ISO1940/1 – G6.3. Fan casings are also CNC machined either from Black Polypropylene or PVC, GRP reinforcement is available as an extra, as with
all our fans the steelworks are galvanised as standard and we only use stainless steel fixings.
Duty ranges from 50m³/hr – 4,200m³/hr with pressures up to 7000Pa and are available in either direct, v -belt or inverter drive
versions

CHVN 315 – 1250

 

The CHVN range is fitted with a Backward Inclined Impeller giving efficiencies of up to 80%, these impellers are CNC
machined from Heat Stabilized Polypropylene and balanced to ISO1940/1 – G6.3.
Fan casings are also CNC machined either from Black Polypropylene or PVC/GRP, as with all our fans the steelworks
are galvanised as standard and we only use stainless steel fixings.
Duty ranges from 1,500m³/hr – 90,000m³/hr with pressures up to 6250Pa and are available in either direct, v-belt or
inverter drive versions.

BI125G – BI1250N

 

The BI range is fitted with an 11 bladed Backward Inclined impeller giving a fan with a low volume, medium
pressure capability at low costs, the impellers are CNC machined from Heat Stabilized Polypropylene and balanced
to ISO1940/1 – G6.3.
Fan casings are also CNC machined either from Black Polypropylene or PVC, GRP reinforcement is available as an
extra, as with all our fans the steelworks are galvanised as standard and we only use stainless steel fixings.
Duty ranges from 100m³/hr – 3,800m³/hr with pressures up to 2900Pa and are available in either direct, v-belt or
inverter drive versions.

CIV 160 – 500

 

The CIV fan range is an in-line centrifugal fan designed to fit into very confined spaces such as those encountered above fume cupboards, these fans are fitted with the same design impeller as the (CMVeco) range, an injection moulded 20 bladed Radial Tipped Fire retardant Polypropylene Impeller giving efficiencies of up to 65%, these impellers are balanced to ISO1940/1 – G2.5. Motors are TEFC IP55 as standard and are mounted within a ventilated chamber, the motor is prewired to an
external terminal box for ease of installation, fan casings are CNC machined from Black Polypropylene as standard.
There are currently 8 sizes within the range from Ø160 to Ø500 (we can produce other sizes if required) giving volumes between 100m³/hr – 13,000m³/hr with pressures up to 1100Pa.

SV200N – SV200W & SV250

 

The SV range of fans has been developed especially for the School Ventilation market to provide a cost-effective corrosion resistant fan built with quality materials. The SV range is available in three configurations SV200N, SV200W and SV250 all with circular inlet and outlets to make installation easier and come complete with rubber AV mounts and sleeve type flexible connections with stainless steel clip bands.
All SV fans are CNC machined to provide a high quality finish matched with accuracy, all impellers are radial type providing either clockwise or anti-clockwise rotation, and all supports are CNC machined and formed to provide support for the fan casing and motor.
Motors can either be 240/1/50 or 400/3/50 running @ 1400rpm; all motors are weatherproofed to IP55 as standard, SV fans can also be fitted with local isolators or inverters.
Duty Range: 200m³/hr – 1900m³/hr – Pressures up to 490Pa

Bifurcated Fan Range  Ø200mm-Ø900mm

 

The Bifurcated fan range is an axial flow type fan with the motor out of the airstream, these fans are fitted with a precision moulded impeller from PPG (Glass reinforced Polypropylene) or PAG (Glass Reinforced Polymid) The blades are of aerofoil section giving Non-overloading power characteristics.
All Bifurcated fans are fitted with flanged ends to facilitate ease of installation into ducting systems and can be mounted either vertically or horizontally, the latter having a drain point.
All fans are CNC machined from Black Embossed Polypropylene but are also available in UPVC.
A full range of extras are available including mounting feet, matching flanges, flexibles & AV mounts.
Duty Range: – 0.09m³/s – 8.0m³/s with pressures up to 750Pa

Special CMW Range 63 – 75 – 90
